Rista Laboni Simana is mostly known as Simana, a popular model and actress. Apart from media, she is a graduate in Business Studies from Stamford University. She was one of the top ten contestants of Lux Channel I Superstar 2006. She has done few tv ads, but all of her ads gain huge popularity. She is also a popular television actress.

Rista Laboni Simana was born and bought up in Dhaka, though her ancestors are from Sherpur. She has one brother and one sister. She is eldest among her all them.
From her childhood, she regularly performed in cultural events as a dancer and actress. Though, she never thought that she would be involved in the media industry.

Bangladeshi actress Rishta Laboni Simana participated in Bangladeshi Beauty Pageant Lux Superstar 2006 and finished the contest as 12th contestant. After that she performed in a tv promo “Daruchini Diper Naika Khujchi” (Finding Actress for the Film Daruchini Dip). 

After that, Simana started to perform for tv ads. Her notable tv ads are Ispahani Mirzapur Tea, Botanic Aroma, Otobi Furniture, GrameenPhone, Pran Lemon and Fair & Lovely. She is also an established actress in TV Dramas. 

She started her acting career with Sallauddin Lavlu’s Non-Serial tv drama “College Student”. Her notable dramas are “Sakin Sarisuri”, “Sokhina Bibir Golpo”, “Gulshan Avenue”, “Ognipoth”, “Pipilikar Pakha Gojai Moriber Torey”, “Kobiraj Golapsha”, “Three Comrades”, “Shongshutro”, “Onno Ronger Dhaka”, “Borishal to Baridhara”, and “Musafirkhana”.
